Jack McKinney is an original member of our club and a past club president (1963). Mr. McKinney joined the University of Oklahoma Alumni Association in 1951 and was Life member. Jack was active on the board, the scholarship committee, and was the club Historian until 2004. He was a 50-year member of the OU Club of Dallas and served as a member of the Board of Directors for over 40 years.

Favorites
OU Tradition - As the first person in my family to attend the University of Oklahoma, I don't have a favorite tradition yet. What I am super excited for is the OU vs. Texas game because I'll get to come home to see all my friends and family for the game as well as go to the fair.
Thing about OU - I love the small school feel of Oklahoma. It has the opportunities of a big school like the excitement of football games, but it feels like a family the way a small school would. I feel so comfortable on the campus, and I can't wait to meet tons of new people that will eventually become my lifelong friends.
Musical Artist - I'm pretty typical when it comes to music tastes. I'll listen to anything from broadway soundtracks to pop music to country. I'd say the artist I like most consistently is Taylor Swift.
Movie - Silver Linings Playbook
Book - It's a toss up between The Fault in our Stars by John Green and Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman.
