Jim Stevens was the first OU Club of Dallas President (1950-1952) and is credited with the initial idea for and the formation of an Alumni Club in the Dallas area. He thought this would be a NATURAL fit with the Texas-OU Football game each fall at the fair.

Favorites:
OU Tradition- Texas/OU weekend and the Red River Rivalry. Growing up only ten minutes away from the cotton bowl, it is always the highlight of the fall season to get to see all of the excitement surrounding the football game here in Dallas.  
Thing about OU- I love the feeling of community and family I receive from the student body, faculty and staff all around OU. Every time I was on campus, I was always greeted with a smile, and everyone is always incredibly welcoming and friendly to anyone who happens to walk by. I cannot wait to be a part of this Sooner family, and it is one of the things that immediately influenced my decision to attend the University of Oklahoma.
Movie- at the moment, my favorite movie is bridesmaids. It is definitely a guilty pleasure to watch, and I quote the movie all the time!
Book- The Great Gatsby, I am excited for the movie to come out this December, although it will be very difficult to live up to the book in my standards.
