Michael Tuttle Scholarship

The 2016 Michael Tuttle Scholarship recipient is Kaitlyn Freeborn.

In 2004 the OU Club of Dallas chose to honor long-time board member Michael Tuttle by awarding a scholarship in his name. Michael tirelessly promoted the Club, serving for eighteen years as scholarship chair, webmaster and historian.

The OU Club of Dallas is excited to introduce you to Kaitlyn:

Name: Kaitlyn Freeborn

High School: Lakeview Centennial High School

OU Major:  Biomedical Engineering

After high school I plan to: I plan on attending the University of Oklahoma to study Biomedical Engineering. I am super excited to be a part of the first year of this undergraduate program.

I chose to go to OU because: The University of Oklahoma is the perfect school for me in every way. From the campus to classes, I fell in love. Something has always been pulling me towards OU and after visiting the campus I knew it was meant to be. One of my favorite things about the campus is how friendly everyone is. I feel that this fall I will be joining a really large family, and I honestly can’t wait.
