On August 27, 2009, the OU Club of Dallas held the inaugural Kick-Off Golf Tournament with hopes of making it an annual event. We asked you to "support the OU Club of Dallas scholarship efforts by participating in the inaugural Kick-Off Golf Tournament" and to "join us for an afternoon of golf, dinner, and an update on the upcoming football season at the beautiful Golf Club at Castle Hills."
Well, you did. Thanks to all the players, sponsors, and volunteers, our first golf tournament made several thousand dollars to fund scholarships for north Texas students going to OU. Your generosity and support of the tournament, the games on the course, and the silent auction were fantastic! And so.....
As the headline says, "WE'RE BACK!"
The OU Club of Dallas Kick-Off Golf Tournament II will be held once again at the Golf Club at Castle Hills on Thursday, August 26, 2010.
