Sooner Salute to Nancy Faulconer

Sooner Spouse, Sooner Parent and longtime OU Club of Dallas Board Member!

Nancy would be the first to tell you that she did not graduate from OU, but Nancy Faulconer is 100% Sooner, through and through.  Nancy's husband, Drude, was her first introduction to the state and the University of Oklahoma, having received his degree in Petroleum Engineering from OU in 1958.  Their daughter Melissa also received a business degree from OU in 1988.

Nancy and Drude were introduced to the OU Club of Dallas by former president Jim Hunt and his wife Cathy.  After Drude retired from the Board, Nancy remained on the Board of Directors as the Secretary.  Nancy continues in that position today diligently recording the business of each board meeting.  Additionally, Nancy and fellow board member Jack McKinney have taken on one of the biggest events presented by the OU Club of Dallas... the annual Beat Texas Dance at the Hilton Lincoln Centre.  Nancy has assisted former board member Pam Baker with The Dance for many years and was kind enough to take the lead when Pam retired from the Board.

In addition to spending time with her grandchildren, Nancy and Drude enjoy travel and OU sporting events!

Nancy Faulconer is a testament that a degree from the University of Oklahoma is not the only way to be a Sooner or an active member of the OU Club of Dallas.  As a Sooner Spouse, Sooner Parent and Sooner Supporter, Nancy most certainly is a Sooner!

Please join me in thanking Nancy Faulconer for her continued support and service to the OU Club of Dallas.
