JARRETT FERGUSON
President | Email

Jarrett graduated from OU in 2017 with his degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He is a born and bred Sooner from the start as he grew up in Norman and stayed to get his degree there as well. Jarrett was involved in the JCPenney Leadership Program and the Rani K. Irani Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (I-CCEW). His favorite OU memory is being at the 2000 National Championship game in Miami to celebrate our 7th title. In his free time he enjoys working out, playing tennis, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family. He currently works as Management Consultant for Embark located here in Dallas.

Dave Glass

Dave got his Bachelor of Accountancy from OU in the Class of 1978! Dave is from Altus, OK and repped Sigma Alpha Epsilon and the Accounting Club at OU! Dave’s favorite OU memory is watching Uwe von Schamann kick the winning field goal in Columbus to beat Ohio State with his Dad! Obviously, he loves when OU takes the W over Texas in Dallas! Dave is a retired Accountant and enjoys his time serving for the OU Club of Dallas.

 

 

 

 

 

CLAIRE COLES
VP of Scholarship | Email

Claire graduated from OU in 2013 with a BBA in Finance & International Business with a French minor. While in Norman, Claire was a 4-year track athlete specializing in the heptathlon and pentathlon and a member of Delta Gamma sorority. Her favorite OU memory was when she broke the OU Pentathlon record at the conference championship meet with her parents in attendance. Claire joined the real world working for Wells Fargo’s Corporate Banking Energy Group in Houston, TX. After 4 years in banking, she moved to Dallas to work at Hambric Sports Management, a golf agency, where she currently serves as Client Services Manager. In her spare time, she teaches workout classes, loves to travel and attends OU football games with her new, sometimes unwilling, Aggie husband. She always has her Sooner father and brother to use her season tickets if she can’t make it up for a game. Claire also runs a sports blog designed for women who want to learn more about sports but don’t want to ask the men in their lives about it. It’s called the Girlfriend’s Guide to Sports.

Melanie graduated with her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Management in 2014 and her masters degree in Accounting in 2023. She is originally from Dallas, Texas. During her time at OU she was in Alpha Chi Omega. She is a 2nd generation Sooner and was in the same sorority and received the same degree as her mother. She is currently a Senior Manager at Weaver in their Governance, Risk, and Compliance practice with a specialization in SOC Reporting. In her free time, she spends time with family, friends and her dog, Maya. 

Ryan echavarren

Governance

Ryan graduated from OU in 2018 with a major in History, and minors in Philosophy and Classics. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Ryan applied to OU after witnessing the 2014 Sugar Bowl. While at OU, Ryan was a goalie on the lacrosse team and a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity. In his free time he enjoys working out, trying to break 100 in golf, traveling (48 states and over a dozen countries), and cheering on the Sooners and Washington Commanders. After graduating from OU, Ryan found his way to Dallas by way of attending SMU where he earned his law and MBA degrees. Ryan now works in management consulting.

Cade is a proud graduate of The University of Oklahoma. Graduating in 2023, with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. After graduating from OU, I moved my talents to Dallas. Working for Marsh McLennan as a benefits consultant. Little about me… I’m an avid golfer who loves spending time with family and friends.

 

The reason I chose to be apart of the OU Club of Dallas was to build personal relationships with other Alumni. I believe that it’s important to keep tradition and spread the word of the greatest school on earth. 

 

daniele cunningham

VP - Communications

Daniele earned her Journalism degree from the University of Oklahoma, where she studied from 1984 to 1988. She launched her career in sports television through a series of internships that led to an on-camera role at KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City, before moving behind the scenes on major primetime broadcasts, including the Super Bowl, World Cup Soccer, and Stanley Cup championships, among many others. She later transitioned into B2B marketing and communications with companies like i2 Technologies and Deloitte and now helps executives grow companies through strategic branding, content development, and client engagement programs.

Daniele lives in Dallas with her rescued Australian Shepherd. She enjoys photography, videography, and exploring new places with her camera in one hand and a leash in the other. Her favorite OU memory is being on the sidelines as an intern on game day, hearing the Pride of Oklahoma echo through the stadium.

Chris graduated from OU in 2004 with a degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Venture Management.  While at OU, Chris was on the Board of Delta Sigma Pi and a member of the OU Crew Team. Professionally, Chris has dedicated his career to helping businesses manage their healthcare/employee benefits plans and is a Vice President at Marsh McLennan Agency. He’s an advocate for improving our healthcare system and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Benefits Association.  In his free time, Chris likes to golf, ski, hike, backpack, and fly fishing. Most weekends include numerous youth sporting events with his wife and two children.  

 
Jack williams

Jack graduated from OU in 2022 with a BBA in Accounting and Finance. He grew up in Whitehouse, TX and attended Tyler Junior College in 2018 before moving to Norman to attend OU in 2019. While at OU, Jack was an active member of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI). Upon graduation, Jack moved to Dallas and works in Valuation Services for a public accounting firm. Some of Jack's favorite hobbies are jiu jitsu, yoga, hiking, and winter sports. Some of his favorite OU memories are the Saturday football games with his family and his friends.

Reece morrison

Communications Committee

Reece Morrison was born in Dallas and attended Lake Highlands High School before making his way to the University of Oklahoma (OU) to pursue his passion for football. He graduated in 2019 with a degree in Communication and a minor in Business, having played as a punter for the OU football team. Now back in Dallas, Reece works as a broker for Marsh McLennan Agency, where he leverages his skills to serve clients effectively. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, and running with his pup.

 

Annie mayberry

Annie, a native of Dallas, graduated from OU in 2018 and earned her BA in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. At OU, she was involved in campus organizations such as CAC Howdy Week, Class Council, and Camp Crimson, where she met her husband, Anthony. Her favorite OU memory was attending the unforgettable 2018 Rose Bowl. After interning with the OU Athletics communications office during undergrad, she spent nearly four years working at the Sooner Club, OU Athletics' development office. Now back in Dallas, Annie works with SMU Athletics' Mustang Club. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants with her husband, and relaxing with a glass of wine outdoors.

Hannah is originally from Houston, TX (Sugar Land to be exact) and actually grew up a Longhorn fan. She had the honor of getting to represent OU on the women's soccer team and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors in Human Relations. While in school she was heavily involved in Younglife and was able to connect more with the community of Norman. She works in Talent Acquisition for GameStop, where she specializes in the tech space. She loves to volunteer around the metroplex and try to go to as many soccer games around the world as she can. Her favorite OU memory would have to be either when she scored her first goal wearing crimson and cream or when we beat Texas in 2021. She was surrounded by her longhorn family so that was just some sweet victory.

Caroline and was born and raised in Plano, TX. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2022 with my Bachelor’s in Accounting, and in 2023 with a Master’s of Accountancy. After college, she decided to return to Dallas where she started work at a public accounting firm, Weaver.

MARK WELCH
Board Member

Mark graduated from OU in 1992 with a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering. While at OU, he was involved in President’s Leadership Class (PLC), Sigma Chi Fraternity, and was the college representative for the local Budweiser distributor. His favorite memories were game day activities for any of OU’s teams, and many nights while “at work” generating consumer interest in Budweiser. Mark remains active on campus thru his volunteering with the Gallogly College of Engineering, where he serves on multiple advisory boards. He has nearly thirty years’ experience in telecommunications, and currently serves in an advisory capacity for implementing large transformation projects.

Ryan graduated with his undergrad degree in Finance with a Masters of Accountancy in 2011. Ryan is from Bedford, TX and a proud Beta member. Some of his favorite memories are OU football games and obviously, the OU/TX game each year. Ryan is currently a Senior Manager at KPMG in Dallas. When not working he enjoys spending time golfing, and traveling with his wife, Katie. Ryan has served on the Board for 2 years and is looking forward to the future of the OU Club of Dallas.

 


Tyler Wear

   Board Member

Tyler Wear was born in Dallas and grew up in Cincinnati, OH before attending Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa and making his way to OU. He graduated in 2005 with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Venture Management. While on campus, he was heavily involved in Phi Delta Theta, as well as the Interfraternity Council, CAC Homecoming Committee, and The Men’s Program, and Intramurals. Since returning to Dallas, Tyler has helped numerous small businesses grow and flourish. He is currently the Managing Director of Weather Battle, and the Director of Technology for ClearSmiles, both ventures with fellow Sooners. Tyler enjoys traveling, cycling, local politics, and volunteering.


JOHN STAPLER
Webmaster

John graduated with his degree in Marketing in 1991 and is originally from Kingwood, Texas. During his time at OU he served as the Vice President of Sigma Chi. He is a proud 3rd generation Sooner and his two nephews are 4th generation Sooners! In his free time, he volunteers for the Love Hope Strength Foundation and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. 

 

JASON LIMBER

Scholarship Committee

Jason graduated from OU in 1987 with a BBA in Accounting. He grew up in Oklahoma City and followed his parents and brothers to Norman. While at OU, Jason was an active member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. He held several positions with the Fraternity including Treasurer, Controller and, led or assisted with several of their charitable events. Upon graduation, Jason moved to Dallas and worked in various roles for one of the largest food distribution companies for 13 years. He then moved on to be the CFO of a privately held manufacturing company. The company was later acquired and he now leads their international and domestic Supply Chain operations. He is married to the love of his life who he has known since junior high school. Some of his favorite OU memories are the lifelong friendships he made in college and the Saturday afternoon football games with his family and his friends (that continues today).
