To all Members and OU Alumni,

As President of the OU Club of Dallas I want to announce the relaunch of the OU Club of Dallas starting with our new website and Member Portal.

As we launch into the post-COVID era, we are doing so in a feeling and spirit of excitement about the University of Oklahoma and the OU grads in the Dallas area. We have the opportunity to achieve more than even our great Club has achieved over the last 50 years or more.

It all starts with a great Board of Directors who are all passionate and energized to better serve the OU alumni in the Dallas area and to continue our charitable mission of providing significant scholarships to students from the Dallas area. We award more scholarships than any other OU club. Each student receives up to $5,000 in scholarship funds, including the matching funds from the OU Foundation. In recent years, the total amount awarded to OU students has ranged from $55,000 to $135,000.

Formed in 1948, we are one of the largest OU Clubs outside of the Norman and Oklahoma City area.

Every year we hold the Beat Texas Weekend that we have sponsored for more than 50 years. Our Beat Texas Pep Rally on Friday night before the OU-Texas game is the only party where the Pride plays during the game weekend, joined by Sooner Schooner, Boomer and Sooner, the Spirit Squad, and the Rough Neks.

Our other events include a golf tournament, game watch parties, and happy hours. We are working on a speaker series and business networking events as well.

We want to serve you the OU graduate and you the parents students attending OU. Please become a member and let us know how we can serve you. If you want to get involved in our activities, we would love for you to join in our mission.
