Three essays are required for the application (one long essay and two short essays). If you are a previous applicant, please notice that some of the essay prompts have changed. Please submit unique essays each year. 

Long essay (500 to 650 words): choose one of the following

• What is a goal you have for yourself and how do you plan to achieve it?

• Give us a time you failed and what you learned from that?
  

• How are you unique? Does a certain quality or attribute distinguish you from others?
  

• What is your biggest weakness and strength?

• Tell us your proudest moment. 

• What is your biggest challenge you have overcome and how did you do it?

• When have you had to step out of your comfort zone and what did you learn? 

Short essay (250 to 400 words):  choose two of the following

• What is your favorite part about being a Sooner?
  

• What does leadership mean to you? Give us an example (you or someone else)
  

• What is your favorite peice of art (music, painting, movie, etc) and why?

• Who do you admire the most? 

• What is your ultimate goal professionally?

• What is a quality that distinquishes you from others?
